I entered the real estate business when I was twenty two years old, and have been full time since. For four and one half years I had a contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, covering the entire southwest Pennsylvania. During that time, my responsibilities were the appraisals of Real Estate Owned properties (REO’s), and overseeing the properties for their protection and preservation until out of inventory. Accurate estimates of repair costs were critical. This time with HUD has given me vital experience with REO’s, and the geography and demographics of the communities of southwestern Pennsylvania. Since this time, I have been a REO specialist (in both appraisals and brokerage).
